Staff Accountant - Burr Ridge, IL
Manage, prepare and analyze monthly financial statement packages and graphs. Review sales contracts to ensure gross profit percentages are within approved guidelines. Prepare and enter all monthly journal entries. Control and manage inventory and job close-offs. Ensure job cost budgets are within approved guidelines. Enter approved sales contracts and job cost budgets. Prepare and enter house closing journal entries. Maintain and manage cash flow. Maintain general ledger. Enter all land development budgets and contracts. Complete all bank reconciliations and review all loan reconciliations. Oversee A/P accountant to ensure vendors are paid timely. Provide written reviews of any A/P accountants regarding performance to the Accounting Supervisor. Keep Accounting Supervisor informed of division status and any related problems timely.
